Donations
Your generosity makes a significant difference in Holdrege Memorial Homes’ ability to fulfill its primary mission of Providing Quality Care in a Christian Environment.
There are a variety of ways to contribute.
Annual Fund
Holdrege Memorial Homes’ Annual Fund is an ongoing campaign that provides support each year for all areas of the organization. Unrestricted contributions may be directed immediately to the areas of greatest need. Contributions may also be designated for a specific department, project, or for a patient assistance fund. Annual donations are important to provide a consistent income and encourage foundation and corporate support by demonstrating far-reaching community participation.
Honor Giving
A popular method of honoring an individual’s birthday or the holiday season is to contribute to Holdrege Memorial Homes in their honor, knowing that such a gift will help others in need. Gifts are acknowledged to the honoree.
Memorial Giving
A Memorial Gift is a very thoughtful way to pay lasting tribute to a loved one, friend or relative who has passed away. Beginning in July of 2008, and continuing with all memorial gifts thereafter, the names of those honored with gifts totaling $50 or more will be permanently recorded in the Book of Memory located in the chapel. If donations received reach the $1,000+ level, an engraved brass memorial plate is added to our Tree of Life located in the north entrance reception area.
Your kind gesture also comforts the family at this difficult time, a gesture that helps the lives of others by supporting the health services of a nonprofit care facility. A gift can be made to a specific department of Holdrege Memorial Homes, to a specific project of the Homes, to a Patient Assistance Fund, or simply designated to the area of greatest need.
Please include the donor’s name(s) and address, the person’s name the gift is in memory of, the designated area of need, and the relative’s name and address who should receive notification of the gift. Or contact us for a Memorial Giving brochure.
Small Enough to Care, Large Enough to Serve
Your continued support helps assure the future of Holdrege Memorial Homes as we strive to provide state-of-the-art care for our community’s most fragile citizens, while remembering the value of treating people, one by one.
Stewardship & Accountability
Every penny of your dollar donated to Holdrege Memorial Homes goes to meet the needs and “little extras” to care for the residents of the Homes. All administrative and overhead costs are budgeted so 100% of your contribution will support direct program benefits. We commit to maximizing the value of your contributions to help those we serve and minimize any expense that does not directly provide benefit.
We value your trust in us, so we promise to keep confidential the contact information of all donors on our mailing lists. We do not sell our list. We always strive to be responsible in our management, truthful in our advertising, and cost-effective in our fundraising.
Holdrege Memorial Homes and Holdrege Memorials Homes Foundation are 501(c)(3) tax exempt charitable organizations, and your gift is tax deductible subject to IRS regulations.
