She will not only give you a tour of the facility, but will also provide you with all of the admissions information that you will need to complete your move.

Below are some frequently asked questions related to admission at Holdrege Memorial Homes.
How much clothing should be provided for the resident?
We ask that families provide at least seven days of clothing based upon the season. It is also great if the resident also has slippers, a robe and sweaters. Clothing should also be comfortable and easy to put on and take off.
Who does the residents laundry?
Holdrege Memorial Homes provides laundry services on site.
What are the visiting hours?
Holdrege Memorial Homes does not have specific visiting hours; however, we request that you respect the feelings and rights of other individuals when you do visit. Please use your best judgment when deciding when and how long to visit.
Is there a hairdresser/barber available?
Yes. Holdrege Memorial Homes does have an in-house beauty shop that is available for all residents.
Who do I contact if I have billing questions?
Robin Freeburg is the Business Office Manager for Holdrege Memorial Homes, and she can assist you with any questions or concerns that you may have regarding your billing. She can be reached during regular office hours at (308) 995-8631.
What are the Business Office hours?
The Business Office is open Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Who will make the transportation arrangements for appointments and engagements away from Holdrege Memorial Homes?
We are happy to provide transportation services for our residents, and arrangements can be made by contacting either the charge nurse or the Social Services department.
What types of activities are available?
Every day, the Activities Department staff lists the day’s events and activities on white boards located in the common areas for the residents. Also, the schedule appears on our in-house television channel, Channel 31. Monthly calendars are available in the Activity Rooms, so please feel free to take one with you when you visit. All residents are also provided with a copy of the calendar. Activities can include, but are not limited to Bingo, arts and crafts, musical entertainment, movies, cards and board games, puzzles, church services and educational programs.
Are residents allowed to smoke?
Since 2007, Holdrege Memorial Homes has been proud to be a smoke-free campus. Therefore, all smoking and all smokeless tobacco products are prohibited anywhere on the grounds for both staff and residents. For information on quitting smoking, residents can contact the charge nurse or Social Services office.
