My mother is a resident of your facility and has been there since 2006. Over the years, she has moved from Assisted Living to Skilled Nursing. In each and every area the care she has received has been exceptional. She has always told me how happy she is to be at Holdrege Memorial Homes.

Each and every time I have called to get an update on my mother’s health, I have been forwarded to a very knowledgeable and caring person. This is comforting to me as I live in Florida and it is hard to know and understand just what is happening to an elderly parent. Linda Carpenter, Bernie Quinn and the charge nurses have been exceptional in giving me information and keeping me informed of what is happening with my mother.

Just recently mother fell in her room. It was one of those unfortunate situations where she thought she could do something on her own and fell. The charge nurse on duty that night called me to let me know what had happened and that mother had been transported to the hospital. She gave me the phone numbers to call and was very informative, which was greatly appreciated. Mom received wonderful care at Phelps Memorial Health Center under the guidance of Dr. Jeff Berney, but I was never so happy to see her get back to her room and the wonderful care she gets at your facility. Once she was back under the care of the wonderful nurses and CNA’s at Holdrege Memorial Homes, I felt much more comfortable. I spoke to Mom and she was also very, very happy to be back. Everyone there treats my mother with wonderful respect and caring. Mom does not like to call for help too often, but knows that when she does there is a cheerful and caring person that will come to help her. That is so important to her and to us, her family.

I just had to write and let you know that your staff is absolutely superb. My family, my mother and I are so happy that she is so well taken care of. It really puts our minds at ease. Thank you to your wonderful staff for all of their hard work and wonderful caring attitudes. I am not sure that thank you is adequate, but God bless you all for what you do describes how we feel.
